Instructions Before & During Refinishing

Bathtub and countertop refinishing technicians may enter the property during the scheduled work window and tarp off surrounding areas and furniture as necessary. Tenants and homeowners are advised to cover or remove valuables, electronics, and personal items from the work area whenever possible. All occupants acknowledge that refinishing materials may emit fumes and odors during the application and curing process which may cause discomfort, irritation, or adverse reactions to sensitive individuals. Beach City Reglazing, its employees, and technicians shall not be held responsible for reactions related to occupancy during the refinishing process.

  1. Before scheduled arrival, all countertops, tubs, and work areas must be completely cleared.
  2. All food items must be sealed and stored away prior to refinishing.
  3. We recommend tenants leave the unit within 30 minutes after technician arrival. Occupants may remain on the property but should avoid the active work area.
  4. Beach City Reglazing will install and utilize proper ventilation fans and airflow equipment during application to help direct fumes and odors outside of the unit whenever reasonably possible.
  5. Windows should remain open for ventilation upon return to the unit and for a minimum of 4 additional hours or until odors become faint.
  6. Children, elderly occupants, pets, and individuals with respiratory sensitivities should avoid the work area during application and curing.

DO NOT use the reglazed surface for 48–72 hours after completion. Absolutely nothing, especially water, should come into contact with the surface during this curing period. Maximum cure time may take up to 72 hours depending on environmental conditions.
